Applied Communications

This course covers communication fields such as public relations, advertising, social media strategy, design, and journalism. It emphasizes preparation for professional opportunities via theory and practice and focuses on the development of skills to effectively communicate in a media or communications environment. Prerequisites: Restricted to students in Communication Studies, or with the permission of the Chair and 18 university credits. (lec 2, lab 1) 6 cr.
