Research Seminar II

This course is a continuation of PHED 5998 and will continue to focus on the critical skills needed to evaluate research and integrate your own work into research in various disciplines. Through presentations by colleagues, students will learn alternative approaches to conducting research; hear the types of questions that arise around various topic areas, and to think critically and logically about other topics that you may encounter. PREREQ: PHED 5998 (Sem) 0 cr This course is a pass/fail and you must attend all Research seminars and provide proof for attending an alternative lecture for missed classes to pass this course. This course is mandatory for second-year Masters students. Note: There is no course syllabus as this is a research seminar series with presentations by various professionals in the field of Human Kinetics, including faculty members & PhD candidates.
