Politics of the Middle East

This course examines the politics and it offers a critical perspectives on the Middle East, first as a concept and subsequently of its evolution, which includes an overview of the region's historical, social, economic and political development. Lastly, it studies some of the political conflicts and contentions as well as pressing issues such as water scarcity and religion. PREREQ: 18 university credits (LEC). 3 cr
